To ensure absolute technical transparency and reproducibility, the Uganda DNS Observatory calculates every domain's IPv6 Readiness score using an immutable 100-point diagnostic matrix:
Authoritative nameservers must return a valid, non-empty AAAA record pointing to the zone root.
Successful 3-way TCP handshake over native IPv6 socket (`[::]:80` and `[::]:443`).
Valid SSL/TLS certificate negotiation over native IPv6 without protocol downgrade.
Authoritative nameservers (`NS` records) must have AAAA glue and answer queries via IPv6.
Consistent HTTP 301/302 redirects to secure canonical HTTPS URLs over both dual-stack routes.
IPv6 round-trip latency (`ms`) must be on par with or superior to legacy IPv4 pathing.
